Kevin Edwards-Yano is a Partner in the Outsourcing service at Mazars in Japan.
Prior to joining Mazars, Kevin accumulated over 15 years of experience in the business process outsourcing field in Japan, a number of them in charge of a Japan practice, mainly focused on market entry support and providing ongoing accounting, tax, payroll, HR, corporate secretarial and administrative services to foreign owned or operated SMEs.
Kevin has also worked at a Japanese audit firm where he was responsible for co-ordination of both local statutory audits and group audit requirements, as he has also supported some private Japanese companies looking to IPO in foreign markets, assisting them with the preparation of financial information, co-ordinating due diligences, and developing financial reporting procedures.
Before arriving in Japan, he spent 3 years training and working for a Big 4 professional services firm doing audits of financial institutions and gaining his Chartered Account license.
