Mazars in Japan 30th anniversary party report

The year 2022 marks the 30th anniversary of Mazars in Japan. We wanted to express our gratitude to all of our clients and business partners who have trusted us and worked with us over the years, with the hospitality that is uniquely Mazars. The party was held on the evening of 18 November at Andaz Tokyo hotel on the 52nd floor rooftop in Toranomon.

On the day of the event, more than 150 guests arrived as the warm autumn sky started setting. The panoramic view was spectacular looking over the cityscapes of Tokyo from the 52nd floor. The openness of the terrace and the indoor studio space was a perfect setting to invite our guests.

It was a cocktail-styled evening- with food & drink we kept the programme simple so the guests can enjoy the evening at the fullest interacting with one another, alongside a DJ and a performance by a violinist.

Also, Jean-François Salzmann, Managing partner, Shota Oya, Head of Audit and Céline Takizawa, Head of Outsourcing gave speeches on behalf of the entire partnerships. Nonetheless, a message video from Pascal Jauffret, a member of Mazars' Global Executive Board, was also presented. Upon planning this party to express our appreciation, we have considered the importance of "caring for others" which is rooted in our spirit, and the core purpose of thinking for “the People” and “the Society” of what is the most beneficial.Also, keeping in mind for the future generations. As a form of gratitude, we have decided to do something different from a traditional gift-giving for the party. Instead, to give back to the people and the society in a truly meaningful way.

On behalf of the 150 guests and the Mazarians, we donated JPY 5,000/per person to three charitable organisations, that underlines the concept of 'diversity' and 'child development'. More information can be found here.
